Lionel's Story - Living with ALS
Introduction
Lionel was one of our founding MNDa Singapore members. He participated actively in the advocacy of ALS and contributed much to our association. He was our good friend and a brave Warrior. We hope that this video will encourage both PALS and CALS to look at life from a different perspective.
In loving memory of Lionel who was called home to the Lord on 22nd July 2024.
He had just gotten married to his loving wife Lilian and welcomed their second bundle of joy, when Lionel received the devastating diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) on his birthday. He continued to communicate with his loved ones through assistive devices and strive to give his young family a normal (as possible) life despite the condition.
